GOP Senator Bill Hagerty Says: “China Laughs To The Bank”

Republican Senator from Tennessee Bill Hagerty made a speech on the second day of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Dallas on Saturday. In an interview with Fox News’ Griff Jenkins on the same day, Hagerty said he was aware of “the threats, our nation is exposed to “while criticizing President Joe Biden’s foreign policy and saying that” China is all laughing. “

“What we are seeing,” Hagerty said in the interview, “either in the knee-jerk policy Biden used when our border collapsed, the countdown to the reimbursement by WHO, Nordstream Two, the handover of this pipeline to the Russians, the Conclusion of the START deal with the Russians and no consideration. “

He described the things that came out of the Biden administration with China as well, including the “killing of the Keystone XL pipeline, the cessation of all drilling here in America, the reliance on solar panels from China, on wind turbines from ChinaChina laughs to the bank . ”

Hagerty had previously expressed his thoughts on China when he tweeted on Thursday: “Communist China is not our ally.”

Communist China is not our ally; we must continue to hold them accountable.

And on June 30th, a separate tweet read: “I”ll continue to stand up against communist China to protect our markets and our democracy.”

I will continue to stand up against communist China, for our markets and democracy.

Aside from doing overseas business with other countries, Hagerty said that our own country suffers from the Biden government.

In criticizing the president’s lax border policies, Hagerty told the CPAC that “now every city in America has become a border town,” according to the conservative newspaper National Review.

“The criminal elements here in America thrive under the Biden administration,” he said.

Criminals benefit from Biden’s failed leadership, not these Americans.

In response to a question from his interview with Jenkins on what he sees as the greatest concern on people’s minds, Hagerty said that at the core of people’s fears, “America is hungry for strong leadership.”

The former US ambassador to Japan said Biden’s style of leadership was “leading from behind” and said that the world needs America to be strongest again.

The world, he said, needs America to lead “with America’s interests in its heart, with the interests of our allies in its heart, and standing up for the greatness that this nation has always founded.”

Former President Donald Trump will speak on Sunday, as well as Vice Governor of Texas Dan Patrick, Attorney General Ken Paxton, several other governors, elected heads of state and more.
