On January 24, an updated HD version of the tactical stealth Commandos 2 is released. The original cult game was released in 2001. Closed beta test of the product showed that the developers of Yippee! Entertainment not only improved the graphics, changed the interface and prepared an updated tutorial, but also censored a number of elements.
It turns out that the game disappeared: the swastika (until August 2018 it was banned in Germany, but later allowed in a similar plan products), animation of burning opponents and imperial symbols from Japanese aircraft.
The answer to the question to the fans was given by the representative of the studio. According to him, the company is obliged to comply with laws so as not to fall under restrictions in individual countries. The game comes in one version for all regions.
The authors note that the changes do not affect the gameplay Commandos 2: HD Remaster.
