KOMPAS.com – Good news, business people in the tourism, culinary and hospitality sectors at the Derah Istimewa Yogyakarta Province ( DIY) can operate again.
This was revealed by the Governor of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X when he was met at the Kepatihan Complex on Thursday (2/7/2020).
“I also communicate with the regents, so for me there is no problem, please open it if you want to open a hotel, restaurant, tourist attraction and so on, please,” he said.

That step, according to Sri Sultan HB X, had to be done because the economy in DIY still had to move.
“I am like this, it has already been explained, so this Yogya economy must also grow in a pandemic condition, but there is no choice,” he said.
Application of absolute health protocols
However, Sri Sultan HB X asked permanent and obliged business actors to apply health protocols.
This, he argues, is to prevent the transmission of the Covid-19 virus and make it easier tracing if a positive case arises.
“But still one uses the health protocol, it must be done. Because even if Covid-19 is urgently revoked, it is not certain that the corona will also be lost, meaning that maybe even up to next year it still uses masks as well and keeps a distance,” he explained when met at Kepatihan Complex, Thursday (2/7/2020).
Sri Sultan gave an example of the system of recording the identity of visitors to the Tourism Area Malioboro.
“I said we have cooperation with the city, the term Kota is an ID (digital) to enter Malioboro. My hope is that in every place the health protocol is carried out, but whose name is recorded, what number is the hanphonen,” he said.
“Later there will be hours, there will be a time to enter, if there is a clock even though he is from Semarang, any positive person on the list is there, oh at this time, the cellphone number is that many, oh, this is from Yogya, “This is from Solo. So we have no trouble (tracing), if not Covid the second happens,” he added.
Covid-19 data in DIY
Reporting from AmongDIY Provincial Spokesperson for Handling COVID-19 Berty Murtiningsih explained, the total number of people under monitoring (ODP) in DIY up to Tuesday (6/30) reached 7,689 people, patients under surveillance (PDP) who had been examined were related to COVID-19 (with swab test) there were 1,862 people.
Of the total PDP, 1,437 of them were declared corona negative, 314 were positive and 264 were cured, and eight died, while those who were still waiting for the results of 111 with 25 of them dead.
Berty also noted the addition of one patient who was reported cured of COVID-19 in DIY so that the number of patients recovered to 264 cases.
