Golden State untouchable at home

Golden State won Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals against Dallas (126-117). The Californian franchise is two wins away from returning to the NBA Finals, which it has not reached since 2019 (2-0). Everything had gone badly for Steve Kerr’s men who were trailing by 19 points during the first period (53-34, 16th), but the Warriors, as often this season, proved irresistible in the 3rd quarter and found the solutions to overtake the Mavs whose three-point address, exceptional during the first 24 minutes, logically ended up decreasing. Steph Curry carried his team with 32 points and 8 rebounds and answered Luka Doncic’s 42 points and 8 assists. The double MVP (2015 and 2016) was also well supported by Kevon Looney. Usually of little influence on offense, the interior of the Warriors scored 21 points and 12 rebounds in an absentee Mavs racket. Game 3 will take place in Dallas on Monday at 3 a.m. (French time).
