Gold prices moved higher in Egypt today, Thursday, as trading began, and the gram is up £50 from yesterday’s prices, despite the metal’s global decline.

And the US Federal Reserve announced on Wednesday that it raised interest rates for the seventh time this year, and the rate of increase was 0.5%, in line with expectations, so that the interest rates would be between 4.25% and 4.5%. .

Yesterday’s decision means reducing the pace of interest rate hikes initiated by the Federal Reserve (the central bank of the United States) since last March.
