Gold prices rose in the local market for the second day in a row during Tuesday’s trading, and the price of a gram increased 4 pounds, compared to yesterday’s prices.
Naguib Club, former general secretary of the Gold Merchants Division in the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy that the price of a gram of 21 carat gold rose today by 807 pounds, compared to 803 pounds, yesterday.
The price of a gram of 18-carat gold was about 691 pounds, and the price of a 24-carat gram was about 922 pounds, and the price of a pound of gold reached 6456 pounds.
Globally, gold prices rose today, Tuesday, by 0.11%, to record an ounce of $ 1843.05 at 12:39 pm Cairo time, according to Bloomberg.
Gold prices rose in Egypt in January during trading on Monday.
