Gold prices continue to decline in Egypt during trading on Wednesday

Gold prices declined in the local market, during trading today, Wednesday, and the gram decreased to about two pounds, compared to yesterday’s prices.

Naguib Club, former general secretary of the Gold Merchants Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy that the price of a 21-carat gram of gold fell today to 817 pounds, compared to 819 pounds, yesterday.

The price of an 18-carat gram during today’s trading was about 701 pounds, and the price of a 24-carat gram was about 933 pounds, and the price of a pound of gold was about 6,536 pounds.

Globally, gold prices rose by 0.33%, and the price of an ounce rose $ 6.1, to record an ounce of $ 1867 at 12:46 pm Cairo time, according to Bloomberg.

Gold prices fell at the end of the session on Tuesday to $ 1860 an ounce, according to Bloomberg.

Gold prices fell in the local market, during Tuesday’s trading, by 7 pounds per gram.
