Gold prices in the local market returned to decline during trading on Wednesday, compared to yesterday’s prices.
Club Naguib, Secretary General of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy that the price of a 21-gram gold gram fell today to 742 pounds compared to 750 pounds yesterday.
The price of a gram of 18 carat gold today rose to 636 pounds, 24 carats to 848 pounds, and the gold pound rose to 5936 pounds.
According to Bloomberg news, global gold prices fell during today’s trading, as the price of an ounce today fell by about 8.15 dollars, or 0.47%, compared to the end of trading yesterday, to record 1718 dollars an ounce, at twelve and 30 minutes at noon Cairo time.
