The price of the gold pound jumped by about 440 pounds by Tuesday evening trading, compared to its level yesterday, after the price of a gram of gold jumped in the local market.
The price of the gold pound jumped to about 18,200 pounds, and the price may vary from one merchant to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound.
According to what Naguib Naguib, former Secretary General of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy, the price of a gram of 21 carat gold jumped by 55 pounds during today’s transactions compared to its level yesterday evening, reaching 2,275 pounds in Tuesday evening’s transactions.
