Armand Duplantis took home gold at the European Championships in Munich after being completely superior and cutting out all opponents after his jump of over 5.90. He is the sixth gold medal at the international Swedish championships at the senior level, at just 22 years old. He now raises the bar and aims for 6.06, which would be a new EC record. With the EC triumph, he puts the lead in his phenomenal 2022, which included three league golds and three world records.
