“God of War” released PS5 enhanced performance experience mode update to fully support 4K 60FPS output “GOD OF WAR”

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) Santa Monica Studios announced that the PS4 action game “Mars(God of War)” will release an update for the new generation of PlayStation 5 (PS5) consoles on February 2, providing an enhanced performance experience mode that fully supports 4K 60FPS output.-

The “Mars》, on PS4 Pro, there are two graphics modes, “focus on game performance” and “focus on resolution”. The former prioritizes the smoothness of the screen and opens the update rate to a maximum of 60FPS. For the latter, resolution is the priority, and the update rate is locked at 30FPS.-

After the launch of the new generation host PS5, “Mars》In addition to being able to play in a backward compatible mode on PS5, you can also use the additional performance provided by PS5 to increase the update rate of the “focus on game performance” mode that could only float between 45-50FPS to 60FPS . However, PS5 actually has the ability to increase the update rate of the “focus on resolution” mode to 60FPS, but the game settings are locked at 30FPS.-

Now the production team has released “Mars》, replacing the original default graphics mode with the new “enhanced performance experience” mode, allowing PS5 players to provide the best choice with both performance and resolution, including locking the 60FPS update rate, 4K checkerboard resolution and 2160p resolution output. Players can also switch back to the “original performance experience” mode, which is equivalent to the previous PS4 Pro’s “focus on resolution” mode.-
