God of War Ragnarök is selling early and Cody Barlog is not happy

Already a week ago reported us that it is important to be careful on the internet if you do not want to be exposed God of war Ragnarök-spoiler, because the photos and the like of the copies of the reviews have started to spread. It seems it’s not just reviewers who can’t keep their heads down, as creative director Cory Barlog took to Twitter to complain that a retailer started selling the game two weeks early.

These are obviously physical copies of the game, and Barlog writes that he now understands the benefits of not including the full game on disc. In a later tweet, however, he points out that it’s not something he really wants to see, but that he’s just expressing his frustration with him.

He apologizes that everyone now has to try to avoid spoilers and says it’s absolutely fucking idiotic that this is something we should be doing. Spread spoilers include videos from the entire ending. In turn, Sony Santa Monica has posted an official tweet warning of spoilers and asking people who don’t want anything revealed to mute certain keywords.
