All three winners of their fourth game on Wednesday in Game 5, Utah, Philadelphia and Atlanta have qualified for the semifinals of their respective conferences. Dallas, for its part, regained control in its series against the Clippers. The Mavericks, carried by a huge Luka Doncic (42 points, 14 assists) now lead 3-2.
We can see more clearly! For the first time since the start of these NBA 2021 play-offs, that same Wednesday night indeed allowed three teams to qualify for the next round. The five holders of the Clippers side all scored at least ten points, including Nicolas Batum (10 points) and the palm returning with Paul George, with 23 points (and 10 rebounds), but more was needed to slow down the Mavericks and a monumental Luka Doncic on Wednesday (42 points at 17 of 37 on shots including 6 of 12 at three points and 14 assists).
