The keeper of RC Lens, Wuilker Flour, played his last group match of the Copa America this Sunday at 11 p.m. with Venezuela. He faced Peru, in Brasilia.
The Venezuelans lost 1-0 on a goal from André Carillo in the 48 ‘in a rather disappointing meeting. A poor performance that eliminates the porter’s teammates lensois of the Copa America. 5th with 2 points, Venezuela failed to integrate the first 4 of group B qualified for the quarter-finals of the competition while in the other match of the evening, Brazil was held in check by the Ecuador (1-1). Venezuela therefore leaves the Copa America by the back door with a record of 2 draws and 2 defeats. It must be said that the selection was not spared with in particular a cluster of Covid-19 at the start of the competition which removed several team executives from the field.
After a few days of well-deserved vacation, Wuilker Flour, author of good performances during the continental competition, will be expected in the Hauts-de-France to join the pre-season summer preparation for RCL.
