However, you must always keep in mind the rules that from now on apply at any time of our day: the obligation of social distancing, at least one meter, to wear the mask in a closed place open to the public, or outside when it is not guaranteed the distance. Is it possible to visit family members who live in another region and who haven’t seen each other since the lockdown?
Not yet. The visit to the relatives does not fall within the state of urgency still expected until June 2 to justify the move from one region to another. Some governors have made agreements to allow for a waiver in cases of families living in border areas a few kilometers away, but ordinances from their respective regions will need to be consulted. From June 3, however, it will be possible to move freely from one region to another without any justification.

Can Italians residing and working abroad return to meet their family members?
Until June 3, the return home from abroad is still allowed only in case of work, health or necessity. From June 3, however, it will be possible to enter Italy from any European country without justification and it will no longer be necessary to observe the mandatory 14-day quarantine.

Does the reopening of Italian borders mean that we can go back to travel abroad?
In theory, yes. However, it depends on the rules of other European countries which, at this moment, still have almost all the borders closed to those coming from Italy. In the coming days, however, a series of agreements could change the map of European states that welcome Italian citizens.

Will all stores reopen tomorrow? Can you go shopping where you want?
Yes. In all Italian regions, shops will reopen tomorrow. Many with different times than usual, according to the bands decided by the municipal administrations to avoid rush hours on public transport, which operate with limited capacity. The entrance to the shops will always be contingent according to the size of the premises, the use of a mask will be mandatory. If you want to try on some clothing, it will be possible to wear a clean mask and gloves. The technical-scientific committee considered that it is not necessary to sanitize the clothes.

Are shopping centers also reopening?
Yes, shopping malls, hypermarkets, outlets including restaurant facilities inside reopen. Yes, from tomorrow the resumption of the activity of personal care exercises (hairdressers, barbers, beauty centers) requires that the treatments are carried out only by appointment, with strict protection measures and social distancing. You will not be able to enter these shops and wait for your turn, it will be necessary to arrive at the scheduled appointment time.

Are gyms also reopening? Can you go back to playing sports freely?
Gyms and swimming pools will reopen on May 25th but it won’t be the same as before. There will be strict rules of distancing for which it will not be possible to take group courses in the hall. You can train with a trainer keeping two meters of interpersonal distance. As for sports disciplines, all team and group sports and those, such as martial arts, in which personal contact is foreseen, are absolutely prohibited. In the pool it will be necessary to keep a distance of seven meters in the tank.

Is it possible to freely go to the beach to sunbathe or just for physical activity?
The national decree no longer provides for any limitation or prohibition for recreational or recreational activities and therefore you can always go to the beach while maintaining safety distances. Being outdoors, there is no obligation to wear a mask. It is always good to consult the regional ordinances and also of your municipality for the usability of the free beaches which must in any case be subject to precise rules of distancing.

Will children be able to return to the playgrounds of the parks?
The reopening of the playgrounds of parks, villas, gardens, beaches is up to the mayors who will be responsible for the rules of use. The bans drop but each municipality will impose prescriptions. The activities of the summer camps start again from June 15th.

Will it also be possible to return to the cinema or theater?
