The Leibstadt Bernowa Hall is to be renovated after 35 years. Wintergmeind have now approved a loan of CHF 2.9m. A solar system will be installed on the roof for an additional CHF 400,000. Two motions to dismiss from the ranks of the 112 present (out of 766) voters were clearly rejected.

Now the sanitary and electrical installations can be renewed and modernized and the double gymnasium can be renovated and adapted. Among other things, the windows and sun protection on the ground and upper floors as well as the main entrance door need to be replaced and the toilets at the main entrance need to be renewed.

With the acceptance of the two loans, planning will take place next year and execution in 2024.

People approve of school survey credit

The voters also approved a planning loan of CHF 40’000 to clarify whether the school building in Rosenegg needs to be renovated and adapted.

With the closure of the secondary school, there are vacancies in the building. “This opens up the possibility of merging the entire school complex and merging the primary school and the kindergarten into two properties”, wrote the municipal council in the invitation. Despite currently good spatial conditions, the number of pupils is increasing according to forecasts.

“The kindergarten could be made available to the playroom”, continued the municipal council. This is an ideal location and offers the opportunity to expand the range.

The municipal assembly also approved the 2023 budget with an unchanged tax rate of 102% and a loan of CHF 250,000 for the replacement of a municipal vehicle. The “Reform Mulli 600 K” will be sold and replaced by a van. (the)
