Girona are interested in Barcelona centre-back Eric Garcia, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano on Twitter.

Girona are negotiating a transfer for the 22-year-old, but Blaugranas head coach Xavi wants to keep the Spaniard in the team. Garcia is set to replace Santiago Bueno, who will soon join Wolves for €10m.
It is interesting to note that earlier Barcelona put Eric Garcia on the transfer. However, after several injuries received by the players of the defensive line, Xavi changed his mind and is now against the departure of the football player.
