The front group has 12 riders: Alex Baudin, Nicolas Prodhomme, Larry Warbasse, Stefano Oldani, Vadim Pronskiy, Santiago Bruitago, Patrick Konrad, Magnus Cort, Davide Gabburo, Derek Gee, Veljko Stojnic and Michael Hepburn, with a 5-minute lead and a half to the platoon.
They are pursued by Mattia Bais, José Joaquín Rojas and Carlos Verona, 42 seconds away.
