Will reality star Peter Gillis marry his Nicol in 2022? Will Orange become football world champion? Will we get out of the corona pandemic next year? For answers to these and more pressing questions, Omroep Brabant visited fortune teller Ella Pierot in Oosterhout.
No glass ball on the table, the coffee grounds remain in the filter and the pendulum lies untouched in the chest of drawers. Ella has been reading tarot cards for 35 years. In her own words, almost all of her predictions come true. Everything is predestined before birth. I only make it visible”, reveals the clairvoyant as she routinely shuffles the cards.

To make the predictions even more reliable, the sympathetic Oosterhoutse has put into use a new deck of tarot cards especially for Omroep Brabant. “Look, that’s how the energy goes in the questions we’re going to ask.” She focuses on the cards and lays them skillfully on the table. The blue backs of the cards face up.
It is surely the most frequently asked question to clairvoyants at the moment: will we be freed from the virus in 2022? “I’m going to draw five cards on it,” Ella says immediately. She repeats the question carefully. “Oh, I see there’s going to be quite a battle going on. That’s not so nice.” She quickly turns over more tarot cards. The tension is to cut. Fortunately, a new image provides a bright spot in the long battle against corona.

According to the fortune teller, we can expect many more positive moments. “We will be much happier than we are now.” But we must abandon the vain hope of a victory for the Dutch national team at the World Cup in Qatar. “This is obvious. A string is cut on this card. That is not good. They go pretty deep with it,” the fortune teller admits. “And we really have to talk about the cards here, because I don’t know much about sports myself,” says the clairvoyant with a laugh.

She is eager to tie the knot with the camping magnate. Ella shuffles the cards one last time. “Oh look, this is a very beautiful one.” Suddenly the lucky card appears on the table…
