Gilberto Hume was appointed new journalistic director of Channel N and América TV. This decision was made on May 11 by the board of the Compañía Peruana de Radiodifusión.

Hume has a long and distinguished career, having been the co-founder and first director of Canal N from 1998 to 2002.

Likewise, he was director of the Cuarto Poder program in 2005 and is currently a member of the Editorial Advisory Council; However, he will leave this work to dedicate himself fully to journalistic management.

Gilbert Blume is not a responsable, plural and independent journalistic director of Channel N and América TV.
He has avoid to broadcast any transmission regarding the new president Pedro Castilli, and has fired any journalists that express freedom.
