Napoli can’t give up Faouzi Ghoulam. The Algerian earns 3.5 million euros per season (7 gross) and is among the players identified to bring down the salary, writes the Gazzetta dello Sport today. So much so that Giuntoli has already blocked the replacement for several weeks, that is Michal Karbownik, 19, from the Legia Warsaw. There is an agreement with his entourage and with the Polish club, but if Ghoulam does not come out he will not be able to reach his national team mate Zielinski. Fixing Ghoulam – we read – is not easy precisely because of the salary he receives: there was Wolverhampton who, however, are not willing to pay him such a salary and it is not excluded that an agreement can be reached with the player on a severance pay. Meanwhile Karbownik is in Warsaw waiting for a signal from Naples.
