To everyone’s surprise, Sony unveiled on Monday that Ghost of Tsushima will be entitled to a new cooperative multiplayer mode later this year, called Legends. And, good news, it will be free for those who already have the game.

Featured in a rather scary trailer, Legends will not follow the story of Jin, as in the main adventure, but will rather focus on that of “four warriors who became legends in stories told by the people of Tsushima”.
“The solo campaign of Ghost of Tsushima focuses on an open world and explores the natural beauty of the island, but Legends is disturbing and fantastic, with locations and enemies inspired by folk tales and Japanese mythology, and an emphasis on cooperative combat and action, ”said senior game designer Darren Bridge.
In a post on the PlayStation blog, the latter specified that the mode will be exclusively a cooperative multiplayer experience, which will be played online, in groups of two or four players. It will also be possible to choose between four classes of characters: the samurai, the hunter, the ronin and the assassin.
The two-player games will consist of narrative quests, which will be increasingly difficult, while a team of four players can take part in survival missions, facing growing waves of enemies, some with supernatural skills.
let’s remember that Ghost of Tsushima was released exclusively on PlayStation 4 on July 17th. Well received by the public, the game was also praised by critics, especially on the side of Pèse sur start.
