If there’s one thing developer Larian has been trying to make clear over the past few months, it’s that the upcoming Baldur’s Gate III is huge, like absolutely huge.
They’ve said that the adventure will take at least 75 hours if you rush through the story, but we should expect 100 hours of gameplay. Obviously, the amount of interaction with other characters is also a brutal extra.
in a new steam postthe developers now say there are over 2000 characters to interact with:
“With over 2,000 characters for you to interact with, responding differently depending on the species and class you choose, and a golden path that takes over 80 hours to complete, you can expect to discover a surprising amount in your second or even third playthrough never-before-seen content.”
