Financing loan from the Ministry of Awqaf
The Ministry of Endowments has made it clear that this loan is provided to all employees of the Ministry and all employees of the government and business sectors, but by applying the terms and conditions, and there is one entity that determines the value of the loan and the repayment period, which is Banque Misr. The loan is to transfer the salary to Banque Misr so that the monthly installment is deducted through it. In the same context, the Ministry of Religious Endowments indicated that this loan offers the longest possible repayment period of up to 60 months.
Conditions for obtaining an endowment loan
The Ministry revealed a set of conditions and controls that determine who is allowed to disburse the loan and how to repay it in accordance with the laws and regulations, as follows:
• The applicant must be among the employees of the Ministry of Awqaf and any of the agencies affiliated with the Ministry
• To have 5 or more years of service in the Ministry
• The total amount spent does not exceed 15,000 Egyptian pounds.
Steps to obtain a loan from the Ministry of Awqaf
The Ministry announced that the amount due to be disbursed does not exceed 15,000 pounds, with conditions as follows:
１- The applicant should not have obtained any other loans from other banks
２- He does not have residuals from other endowment loans
３- His age does not exceed 56 years and he has more than 3 years left in the service
４- 300 pounds per month will be deducted from the salary after transferring it for a period of 60 months
５- Whoever did not spend 5 years in service, he is entitled to spend an amount of 6000 pounds only, and 150 pounds per month will be deducted from his salary.
６- For non-workers in the ministry, the loan amount shall not exceed 10,000 pounds
７- It is not permissible to request another loan before paying off the loans obtained
