Investing.com – Germany stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as gains in the , , and sectors propelled shares higher .
At the close in Frankfurt, Germany, it rose 0.07%, compared with a loss of 0.39% and the index lost 0.15%.
The best performers of the session were E.ON SE (ETR:), which rose 0.98% or 0.11 points to trade at 11.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Beiersdorf AG (ETR:) added 0.88% or 1.05 points to end at 120.95 and Symrise AG (ETR:) was up 0.76% or 0.70 points to 93.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Covestro AG (ETR:), which fell 2.15% or 1.06 points to trade at 48.27 at the close. Continental AG (ETR:) declined 1.43% or 0.98 points to end at 67.40 and Sartorius AG Vz (ETR:) was down 1.25% or 4.40 points to 346.60.
The top performers on the MidCap Index (MDAX: ) were Stabilus (ETR: ), which rose 1.92% to end at 49.78, Redcare Pharmacy NV (ETR: ), which was up 1.40% at the close at 108.30 and Wacker Chemie (ETR: ). Up 1.15% to close at 132.10.
The worst performers were CTS Eventim AG (ETR:) which was down 1.93% to 55.95 in late trade, Delivery Hero AG (ETR:) which was down 1.90% to 34.38 and Evotec AG (ETR:) which was down 1.82% , closing at 20.54.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Verbio Vereinigte Bioenergie AG (ETR: ), which rose 2.64% to end at 41.57, ADTRAN Holdingsa Inc (ETR: ), which was up 2.29% to settle at 7.52 and CompuGroup Medical AG ( ETR:) rose 1.17% to trade at 41.66 at the close.
The worst performers of the session were Nagarro SE (ETR:) which was down 2.67% to 74.60 in late trade, Siltronic AG (ETR:) which lost 1.96% to settle at 72.60 and Evotec AG (ETR:) which was down 1.82% to end at 74.60 in late trade. The price is 20.54.
327 stocks on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange fell, and the number exceeded the number of stocks that closed higher – 298. At the same time, 115 stocks did not rise or fall, basically flat.
A measure of implied volatility for DAX 30 options fell 2.32 percent to 16.83.
Gold futures for December options fell 0.44% (8.65 points) to $1,938.45. For the rest of the futures, the October WTI crude oil futures contract rose 0.47% (0.37 points) to $79.42, while the October London Brent crude oil futures contract rose 0.73% (0.61) to trade at $83.97.
EUR/USD did not rise or fall by 0.06%, the exchange rate was 1.08; at the same time, EUR/GBP was basically flat by 0.01%, and the quotation was 0.86.
U.S. dollar index futures rose 0.15% to 104.08.
