Second German channel ZDF referring to a representative of the naval command of the armed forces of Germany, he said that at a distance of less than 11 nautical miles (about 20 km) from the place where the Nord Streams were blown up, there was a reconnaissance ship of the Bundeswehr.
The Nord Stream incident took place on September 26, 2022. The reconnaissance ship left the port of Kiel on September 7 and until September 14 was not far from the site of the explosions. The mission of the ship is kept secret.
A representative of the naval command said that the ship collected “a wide variety of information”, but the information received does not make it possible to draw a conclusion about those responsible for the sabotage on the Nord Stream, reports “RIA Novosti”.
As a result of the explosions, three of the four lines of the gas pipeline were damaged. Denmark, Sweden and Germany are conducting independent investigations into the incident. In Russia, the investigation of explosions as an act of international terrorism (part 1 of article 361 of the Criminal Code) is carried out by the FSB. The results of the investigations were not reported.
