German Open 2021: Leo/Daniel Defeat Ahsan/Hendra

Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin won the duel between Indonesia and his seniors, Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan. Leo/Daniel win two games to reach the semifinals German Open 2021.

The Red-White match in the quarter-finals of the German Open 2021 will take place on field 2 Saarlandhalle, Saarbrucken, Friday (11/5/2021) night WIB. The first game was tight, with both Indonesian men’s doubles chasing each other for points.

Ahsan / Hendra tried to catch up and managed to close the gap to 17-18. But again Leo/Daniel won critical points to lock in a 21-17 victory.

With this result, Leo/Daniel will advance to the semifinals and will face another young Indonesian double, Pramudya Kusumawardana/Yeremia Rambitan. Their qualification also ensures that Indonesia has one representative in the final German Open 2021.
