A man in Pulheim, Germany, wanted to set fire to a hornet’s nest that was attached to his home last Thursday, but saw his house burn down moments later. The man fought the nest with an aerosol deodorant and a lighter, but that went very wrong.
The consequences are incalculable. The entire roof burned down and the damage is estimated at around half a million euros, it reports German Bild.
Called the fire department
The nest hung from the wooden structure of the roof. He couldn’t get the fire out himself, so the fire brigade had to come to the scene. They were able to prevent the fire from spreading to other buildings.
