A 62-year-old German man received the Corona vaccine 217 times, contrary to medical advice, according to what doctors reported.
The Lancet Infectious Diseases documented this bizarre case, in which doses were purchased and administered privately within a 29-month period.
Researchers from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg say that “the man did not suffer from any side effects.”
“Very interested in tests”
Dr Kilian Schober, from the university’s Department of Microbiology, said: “We learned about his condition through the newspapers.”
“We contacted the man and invited him to undergo various tests in Erlangen, and he was very interested in doing so,” he added, explaining that the man provided blood and saliva samples.
The researchers also tested some of the man’s frozen blood samples that had been stored in recent years.
Dr. Schober indicated that blood samples were taken from the man when he received an additional vaccination during the study by his personal decision.
“We were able to use these samples to determine how the immune system reacts to vaccination,” Schober adds.
The Magdeburg city prosecutor opened an investigation alleging fraud after collecting 130 syringes as evidence, while no criminal charges were brought against anyone.
Corona vaccines cannot cause infection, but they prepare the body and teach it how to fight the disease.

Messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccines work by showing part of the virus’s genetic code to the body’s cells.
The immune system then recognizes the virus and knows how to fight Corona if it encounters it.
Dr. Schober expressed his concern that excessive stimulation of the immune system with repeated doses may lead to exhaustion of certain cells, while researchers did not find any evidence of this in the 62-year-old man.
There was no indication that he was infected with the Corona virus.
“The best approach”
“Importantly, we do not support over-vaccination as a strategy to enhance immunity,” the researchers said.
The results of their tests on the 62-year-old man were not sufficient to reach far-reaching conclusions that might be useful in making recommendations to the general public.
“Current research suggests that three-dose vaccination, along with regular supplementary vaccinations for the most at-risk groups, remains the preferred approach,” the researchers say on the university’s website.
“There is no indication that more doses are needed.”
The National Health Service says that Corona vaccines are given seasonally, but some people with severely weakened immune systems may need extra protection at other times, indicating that it will contact those whose record indicates they may be eligible for this.
Arm pain from injections is a common side effect when receiving Corona vaccines.
