German family deported for not having anti-Covid vaccines

The National Directorate of Civil Aeronautics (Dinac) reported that taking into account the validity of the sanitary provisions by the Covid-19it was arranged that travelers return to their boarding point by means of an Air Europa flight.

The family remained for several hours at the Silvio Pettirossi international airport, after they were denied access to the country for not having the Covid-19 vaccines.

Lawyer Max Narváez Matto reported that the family is made up of 17 members, father, mother, 13 children and two grandchildren, who sold all their assets to settle in the country, after having acquired land.

The family has a negative PCR test, but the health authorities require the health pass, which consists of having two doses against the disease.

The director of Migration, Ángeles Arriola, pointed out that it is not an issue that has to do with the institution and that the Ministry of Health is the secretariat that denies them entry.

Francisco López, head of the Directorate of Entry Points and Border Crossing of the Ministry of Health, said that people do not have the vaccines and will have to return to their country.

The Health portfolio requires non-resident foreigners to have a two-dose vaccination schedule to enter the country from 18 years of age.

The vaccination certificate must be in English, French, Portuguese or Spanish and must contain the data of the manufacturer of the applied vaccines and the batch of the applied doses, in addition to personal data.
