The AfD has failed again in its attempt to protect itself from being considered a dubious right-wing extremist. This defeat in court is a big burden for the upcoming election campaigns.

A German court made a clear decision in this dispute: The AfD is still suspected of being an anti-right wing issue and therefore the Office for the Protection of the Constitution could continue to use intelligence methods. A clear decision that consistently contradicts all the objections raised by the AfD, which had sued against such a classification. Just like a previous decision of other judges in the same case.
