A high risk that Gérald Darmanin sums up in one sentence: “I don’t want the working classes to go to a hateful rally”. Promised, he does not think of “any election”, but to critics, including in his own camp, he replies that “it is not forbidden to do politics”.
And he in fact, not forgetting to express his loyalty to the president and to say that the arrival of the Prime Minister is “an honor for Tourcoing”.
He is said to be bitter at not having been appointed to Matignon, but he bounces back by making his political comeback the event to which a quarter of the government rushes. “A tour de force.
