miHoYo studio held a broadcast dedicated to update 3.7 for Genshin Impact. At the end of the broadcast, the developers showed a new location, which should appear in the game with the release of patch 4.0.
The new location was named Fontaine. The people of this region worship Fokalros, the Hydro Archon. It is assumed that the region will be inspired by the architecture and culture of France, and its territory will be covered with various bodies of water. In the first official teaser from the developers of Genshin Impact, you can see the main character swimming surrounded by various fish.
When the release of update 4.0 will take place is still unknown. According to the leaks, the patch will introduce two new characters – brother and sister. Five-star Lynn will be a Pyro archer and his sister Lynette will be a four-star Anemo swordsman.
