General Directorate of Public Security Announces Fee Changes for Residences, Work Permits, and Visas

The General Directorate of Public Security announced, in a statement, that they will change the value of the fees they collect for the transactions they do in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations, so that they are as follows:

“First: – Residences:

New Picture Type (LL)
Annual residence permit for a first category work permit holder and members of his family (or part thereof) 82,000,000
Annual residence permit for second category work permit holder and members of his family (or part thereof) 55,000,000
Annual residence permit for a third category work permit holder (or part thereof) is 18,000,000

Annual residence permit for a person with a fourth category work permit (or break it)
13,000,000

Annual residence card for Egyptian nationals (or fraction thereof) 1,000,000
Annual residence card – student (or broke) 10,000,000
Annual residence card – under review (or broken) 6,000,000
Annual residence card – for Lebanese with foreign nationality: 10,000,000
Annual residence card – remaining sectors (or fraction thereof) 13,000,000
Temporary residence card for one year or break it (for Syrian nationals) 13,000,000
The sponsor moved 2,000,000

– The fee for residence and visa violation will be collected according to the cost specified for each of them when it is due, until it is calculated according to the old fee until the end of the year fiscal, and the new tax will be collected if it is due. due after the effective date of the contents of this circular.
– The departure arrangement fee for stowaways is collected according to the new fee (two years), and a visa transfer fee if required.
– Three times the annual residence fee is charged in cases where a three-year residence can be granted.

Visa fees are collected according to the table above when you submit the application to the Department of Public Relations, Department of Organizations, Human Rights, and Regional Centers.
– An allowance for paid services is collected for visa applications if the parties concerned wish to submit them urgently.
– No fees are collected at border departments and centers for visas whose fees were collected when submitting the application.
Fees for refused or returned visas are non-refundable, and visa return applications cannot be resubmitted after completing the required amount within a maximum period of one month without paying a new tax.
– This circular will be effective from 04/22/2024.”
