BV March 26 will be a special day for Gene Bervoets. Not only does the actor celebrate his 68th birthday, it is also the day on which his old punk band – The Plastik Bags – rises from its ashes again after almost 50 years. The youngsters from back then are now retirees. “You don’t necessarily have to be very young to count,” he laughs in an interview with the weekly magazine ‘Primo’, about his punk side, career and great love Tine Laureyns (45).
