Specifically, cards marked RTX 4070 Super went on sale on Wednesday, with prices starting at CZK 16,499. This is the official price tag given by the chip manufacturer, i.e. Nvidia.

However, large manufacturers will traditionally offer new cards in stores, and they will modify them in their own image. We are talking, for example, about the companies Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, EVGA, etc. The modified models may have improved cooling compared to the reference ones, or they may already be overclocked from the factory. However, this is quite understandably reflected in the final price, which can easily be several thousand crowns higher.
This also applies in the case of two more powerful cards that arrive on store shelves later. Specifically, in a week – on Wednesday, January 24 – the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super will go on sale with a price starting at CZK 22,199. Potential buyers will have to wait until the last day of January for the GeForce RTX 4080 Super card. Prices will start at CZK 27,699.

More attractive price, higher performance
It is the prices that are the key improvement in the case of the new cards. For example, the RTX 4080 Super model will offer a performance increase of only about three percent compared to the older RTX 4080 version. However, the price should drop by around 20% for the newer model.
The RTX 4070 Ti Super card will offer a higher performance increase compared to its predecessor. The manufacturer helped himself with a trick when he used a core from the more powerful RTX 4080 graphics. Thanks to this, the memory size increased from 12 to 16 GB, while a wider bus is also available, namely 256 bits instead of 192. Underlined, in summary: the performance increased by about ten percent.
For the RTX 4070 Super graphics, which closes the trefoil of news, Nvidia promises a performance increase of 15% compared to its predecessor. Allegedly, this card should be more powerful than the older RTX 3090 flagship.
However, we will have to wait for real practical experience for some time before all the new cards are officially sold and the first real tests are available.

Despite the arrival of the new products, it must be emphasized that the most powerful graphics in the offer remains the RTX 4090 model. To better understand the performance of this model: in games with full ray-tracing, the RTX 4090 is 3 to 4 times faster compared to the RTX 3090 when DLSS is turned on Those of the previous generation and DLSS 2. According to the manufacturer, it is also up to twice as fast in current games while maintaining the same 450W consumption.
