Gauvain Sers returns to school. The singer went to the Victor Hugo high school in Poitiers this Tuesday, February 6. Sponsor of the establishment, the artist met around twenty first year students from the Theater section. The high school students, who are aiming for careers in the entertainment industry, spoke with the musician about his experience and his career.

“I really believe in transmission”
But first, the students danced and sang in a classroom, under the tender gaze of Gauvain Sers. “Well done, we’re under the spell”, the singer congratulated them. Madiana, a high school student who dreams of becoming a composer, was impressed by her meeting with the musician. “Knowing that he started from nothing and still managed to climb the ladder is crazy inspiring”says the first grade student.
Gauvain Sers shared some advice with the students. The singer is keen to pass it on to younger generations. “I really believe in transmission and I have always enjoyed working with the new generation, I find it very enrichinghe explains. I try to pass on to them my experience, my experience and how I came to make a living from my passion, I tell them that you have to hold on to your dreams.”.

Other stars teach high school students
Gauvain Sers is not the first artist to sponsor the Victor Hugo high school. “We have already welcomed Benjamin Lavernhe, who is a former student of the high school, we have also welcomed Ibrahim Maalouf, Marie-Claude Pietragalla and Les Ogres de Barbacklists Frédéric Couturier, principal of the establishment. The idea is that they meet our students, share their experience and give them perspectives.”.
To bring in the artists, the head of the establishment used his contacts. “I wrote to them and they agreed to come“, he specifies. Next year, Frédéric Couturier would like Vianney to sponsor the establishment. Until then, the students still have a lot to learn from Gauvain Sers. The singer even brought his guitar and played a few securities.
