Apart from the Public Fuel Filling Station (SPBU), PT Pertamina (Persero) also operates the Pertamina Shop (Pertashop) for the purchase of fuel oil (BBM). This pertashop is a small distribution agency serving consumers at the village level far from gas stations.
Pertamina targets that by the end of the year it will operate 4,308 Pertashop units throughout Indonesia. According to Fajriyah Usman, Vice President for Corporate Communication of PT Pertamina (Persero), until August 2020 there are 500 Pertashop units ready to operate in 23 provinces in Indonesia.
“With the target that until the end of 2020 there are 4,308 units in 2,376 sub-districts that do not yet have a fuel distribution agency and can be accessed by fuel tanker cars. Pertamina will also build 2,000. Pertashop in strategic places, such as in Banten, West Java and East Java, “said Fajriyah in his official statement.
How is the quality and price of fuel at Pertashop? Pertashop is designed in such a way as Pertamina’s official distributor. In its press release, Pertamina emphasized that Pertashop provides fuel at the same price and quality as gas stations. The dose is also right and still pay attention to the safety factor.
The minimum capacity for fuel storage is 3,000 liters, according to the categories, namely Gold, Platinum and Diamond. The supply is carried out directly by Pertamina through the nearest BBM terminal.
According to Fajriyah, on average Pertashop can sell 700-900 liters of fuel per day. In fact, Pertashop in Karanglo Village, Tawangmangu District, Karanganyar Regency, Central Java, has reached 1,000 liters / day.
“About 300 vehicles per day use Pertashop. Assuming a purchase with Pertamax is a maximum of IDR 30,000 for two-wheeled vehicles,” explained Fajriyah.
In Mengwi Village, Bali the average turnover per day is around 800 liters / day. Never also get up to 901 liters per day. “Seeing this positive interest, Pertashop can be the best alternative choice for BUMDES in managing the regional economy,” he added.
