Despite the inclement weather of the past few days, the gas market remained relatively calm, helped by well-filled stocks and the supply of liquefied natural gas. However, there was less supply of natural gas from Norway, due to local maintenance works.
The announced milder temperatures next week will cause gas prices to drop again. Earlier this month, the price fell to its lowest level in sixteen months.
