The Welsh football star has decided to retire from football at the age of 33. This decision was made around a month after Wales’ elimination in the group stage of the 2022 World Cup.
It is undeniable that the decision to retire by the former Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid star was quite surprising. The reason is that Bale still has the remainder of his contract with Los Angeles FC until next summer.
During his nearly two-decade career, Bale made more than 600 matches at club and international level. Bale has won several league trophies, most of which he has achieved with Real Madrid, including three LaLiga titles, one Copa del Rey and five Champions Leagues.
