If you have to dispose of garbage on Monday, you can exceptionally do so on Rose Monday (February 15, 2021).

This year the recycling center in Flingern will be open from 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Although Rose Monday cannot take place as usual due to Corona, the recycling centers in Lohausen and Garath will remain closed as planned. Also, due to Rose Monday, the collections by the garbage disposal will be postponed by one day. This applies to the coming week, the last changed collection is then on Saturday (February 20th) instead of Friday (February 19th). This applies to the emptying of residual, paper and organic waste as well as the yellow bin in our city.
