Ganjar Pranowo: Supporters Remain Fearless Despite Continued Pressure – Jakarta News

Jakarta

Presidential candidate number 3 Ganjar Pranowo said that all elements of the Ganjar-Mahfud winning team had different strengths from other candidate pairs. Ganjar said Ganjar-Mahfud supporters were not afraid despite continuous pressure.

This was conveyed by Ganjar when meeting the regional winning team (TPD), coalition party legislative candidates and volunteers Reward-Mahfud in Surabaya, East Java, Saturday (13/1/2024).

“Our strength is always ‘gremetnya, gildingnya’ friends unite with the people, it feels like it is not owned by others,” said Ganjar.

Ganjar said that this force is expected to continue to operate in the remaining time of the campaign. So, he said, his supporters must prepare more strategic steps.

“A wise person told me, never stop when we haven’t arrived. Then we will stop with our tiredness, until we get that victory,” he explained.

Ganjar said that more and more pressures were emerging. In fact, Ganjar admitted that he had heard stories of intimidation of his volunteers.

“Someone came in, ‘Mr Ganjar, someone has called us’. We have to fight this kind of bullying model,” he stressed.

Even so, Ganjar believes his volunteers have the courage to fight this threat. He also admitted that he knew something was wrong with his volunteers, when the volunteers’ movements were not as fast as usual.

“Why am I telling you, because yesterday there were so many friends walking fast, why suddenly they stopped, I said there must be something,” he added.

So, the former Governor of Central Java said that currently his party has prepared a team to face pressure. This, said the prayer, so that if intimidation occurs it can be conveyed to the team.

“Situations like this increasingly show that there are those who are nervous about our strength and movements. This also shows that our solidity makes them afraid,” he said.

“We will fight and will never stop. The ups and downs of our democratic situation must remain well recorded in history. That is why we must continue to learn,” he added.
