Game Bully 2 is being worked on, why hasn’t it been released in 6 years?

Jakarta

It’s been more than six years since its announcement, game Bully 2 didn’t show up either. This has previously been conveyed by the main author of the game, namely Dan Houser.

Even so, until now Rockstar has not presented the latest information regarding the release of Bully 2. Given that the initial series of this game was born in 2006.

Plus, the official statement about the next series of Bully, revealed by Houser in an interview with GameSpot, in September 2013, as quoted from Gamerant, Thursday (1/7/2021).

Rumors also emerged, where the development of Bully 2, was actually not long after the series was originally released. It was stated that Houser also had a script that was ready to be processed in early 2008.

Until finally this action-adventure game had to be put on hold. The cause is Rockstar requires more resources and manpower, to build Red Dead Redemption.

Thus causing no leeway for them to work on other projects. This was allegedly the cause of the cancellation of Bully 2 at the end of 2015.

Then another rumor circulated, in which Rockstar actually canceled the development of this adventure game in December 2020. The goal is none other than, to focus on working on the latest series from Grand Theft Auto, which until now is still waiting for official confirmation from them, namely GTA 6.

As famous game leaker Tom Henderson put it, that GTA 6 predicted to be released between 2024 and 2025. He conveyed this speculation through a 10 minute 57 second video on his Youtube channel (28/6).

“Now there are many rumors circulating saying this game will be released in 2022, 2023, I even posted on Twitter the possibility of a release in 2023 to 2024. However, I think that information is still too early,” said Henderson.
