The Galician Association for the Defense of Public Health proposes through a public letter to the manager of Sergas, Antonio Fernández Campa, that the COVID-19 test for epidemiological study to the workers health system and non-health personnel.
They ask that front-line personnel be tested
The letter, sent on April 21 and made public this Thursday, considers that if people are to be tested randomly, it should be done to the workers of the Galician public health system who are on the front line of the disease, and to the Sergas non-sanitary staff.
Also requests the Sergas Management to report by municipalities of how the current situation of the coronavirus is in order to plan patient care and assess the measures to be taken for de-escalation. They demand that Sergas know what happened to the conclusions of the work carried out by the 16 technical commissions of the Technical Council for Primary Care of Galicia for the reform of this level of care.
