Galaxy S21 Fan Edition 5G Uses Chips Made by Samsung

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Fan Edition will be priced at IDR 9 million.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Samsung introduces mobile phones Galaxy S21 Fan Edition 5G, which will be sold in the near future starting at IDR 9 million. Product Marketing Manager of Mobile Experience, Samsung Electronics Indonesia, Verry Octavianus said that cellphones circulating in Indonesia will use Samsung’s own chip, the Exynos 2100.

Samsung globally provides two versions of the chip for the Galaxy S21 FE 5G, namely the Exynos 2100 and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G. Indonesia got the Exynos 2100 chip version on the grounds that it was adapted to market needs.

When compared to the performance of the previous generation phone, the Galaxy S20 FE, the chip promises 25 percent higher CPU performance and 35 percent GPU. In terms of cameras, the Galaxy S21 FE 5G uses a selfie camera that is larger than the rear camera.

In the Infinity-O screen hole, Samsung embeds a 32MP camera with f/2.2 aperture. While at the back, there are three cameras arranged vertically, from top to bottom, in the form of a 12MP ultra-wide lens, 12MP wide lens and an 8MP telephoto lens with 30 times Space Zoom capability.

The Samsung camera supports video recording features with both front and rear cameras at the same time, Dual Recording Samsung uses a Dynamic AMOLED FHD + panel on a 6.4-inch wide screen, which already features a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, the touch sampling rate provided on this phone is 240Hz.

Samsung provided a 4,500mAh battery for the Galaxy S21 FE 5G, which supports 25W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. Like other flagship phones, the charger is not included in the box. The Galaxy S21 FE 5G will be available in Lavender, White, Olive and Graphite colors. For storage capacity, Samsung provides a choice of 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB, which will be sold starting at Rp. 8,999,000.
