Libreville, September 02, 2023 (AGP) – Political actor, Dieudonné Minlama Methogho made a statement this Saturday, September 2, during which he, among other things, pleaded for the implementation of mechanisms for genuine national reconciliation.
On the occasion of a statement he made public this Saturday, September 2 in Libreville on the subject of the seizure of power by the Committee for the Transition and the Restoration of Institutions (CTRI), chaired by General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema , the former 2016 presidential candidate, Dieudonné Minlama Methogho, called on the CTRI to make national reconciliation one of its priorities.
“It will be utopian to move forward if we have not first healed the wounds, chased away fears, eliminated blocking weights, reassured each other, and recreated hope and expectation. The Gabonese people need to move forward into a better future; United, serene and united. ” Did he declare.
On this occasion, the politician also called on the political class, civil society, religious denominations, traditional societies, but also the Gabonese people, to support the ongoing transition by putting aside personal and partisan interests.
For him, the question of the duration of the transition should not worry the Gabonese, which is why he therefore invited them to focus first on the objectives, because it is from there that the duration of the transition can be realistically defined.
