Diablo Immortal came out on mobile and PC in most parts of the world last week. However, the game is not available in the Netherlands and Belgium. According to Blizzard, this is due to “the current operating conditions for games in those countries,” or loot box legislation.
In the Netherlands, the legislation regarding loot boxes seems to be relaxed. Earlier this year, the Dutch Gaming Authority lost a lawsuit against Electronic Arts about loot boxes in Fifa. In Belgium, the rules are still strict.
