The moon on Saturday will be in its full phase. This means that the shield of our natural satellite will be admired in all its glory. The full moon in April is called the Pink Moon.
–
The climax of the full moon will occur on Saturday, April 16 at 8:57 pm. In order to be able to admire this astronomical phenomenon as much as possible, we should look at our natural satellite away from cities, preferably in darkened, rural areas. When this is impossible, choose a place in the city that is not heavily illuminated by street lamps.

The full pink moon. Where does the name come from?
The name of the April full moon does not refer to the color of the Moon’s disc, because it does not change its color. The name comes from the color of the phlox flowers, whose flowering period in North America begins this month. The original origin of the names given to each full moon goes back to Native Americans.

Other names for the April fullness are the Sprouting Grass Full, the Egg Full, and the Fish Full.
