Kurt Merki Jr, renowned as a product and interior designer, seeks the superyacht to be a revolution in ecological features in the design of these marine vehicles.
The Swiss design studio revealed a couple of days ago the new representation of a 80 meter yacht loaded with nature.
symbiosis is full of vegetationincluding a tree of Life located outside the aft of the main deck, although this can be changed for a variety of different options to suit the tastes of each owner.
In addition to this tree, which works as a welcome for guests, nature is present in almost every part of the yacht.
A lawn space covering approximately 100 square meters serves as a multipurpose area that can be converted into a children’s, picnic, exercise or play area for the little ones and even a pet.
To keep green areas always alive, Symbiosis includes in its design a automated irrigation system that satisfies the daily demand for water and fertilization, even so, a trained gardener should be considered among the crew to take care of nature.
Kurt Merki Jr added another area called ‘The Sanctum’ which, according to the study, is like ‘a green holy grail of the ship’. Here you can grow and harvest special herbs, spices and vegetables for the chefs on board to use in gourmet meals.
For now, that is all that is known about this green superyacht, but it is certain that later the study will release more information regarding the design and power.
