The full moon came on the night from yesterday to today, specifically on Saturday at 4:36. In the sky, it was possible to watch the impressive meeting of the planets and the full moon.
“The moon will be very close to the big planets. Now, as it enters the full moon phase, it’s on the opposite side of the sky. And in the same part of the sky are Jupiter and Saturn, which are close in opposition to the Sun. So there will be a very nice encounter.” said Horálek.
According to him, the best spectacle will take place on the night of July 25-26. “When will Jupiter, Saturn and the full moon form such a nice triangle and be visible all night,” he described.
The moon around the full moon is now disturbing the view of the Milky Way, but according to Horálek, it will soon recede from the night sky to the morning and conditions will improve significantly.
